Lead Generation and Live Events

When you hold a live event – or participate in someone else’s event – are you always 100% IN?

Is anything less acceptable?

Is OK acceptable or should you rock and roll?

Why are we heisting, why are we holding back from taking our event to that extreme level?

If you are going to spend all that time, money and energy on an event, why isn’t that event or your part in that event the greatest it can be. Totally memorable?

Why isn’t it something that the people who were there will be talking about for years afterwards.

Whether you hold regular events or only do it once a year, it still must always be done at that extremely great level

If not, you are missing a great opportunity.2D-2

Let me share a few things with you today that you should be doing with your events to make this happen.

Start today making your participation in events and the events you host the best out there.

Watch on Youtube as Coach Manny walks you through the process:

1/        Talk to your attendees.

Forget the survey.

The critical people you want to hear from usually never take the time to fill them out

Talk to the people before, during and after the event.

What feedback do they have for you?

Ask if this was one of the greatest events they ever attended.

If not, what would have made this one of the greatest events that they ever attended.

What wasn’t there?

What should be there?

What could be there?

These are the questions you need answers to.

And you only get real answers with a one on one conversation.

Even if it is a very large event, you don’t need to talk with all they people.

But you need to talk to the key people

And you all know who they are.

2/        Stop hesitating

Stop hold back from doing what you know is a 100 percent solution to help this event or this display be outstanding.

Stop hesitating.

So many times, people know that they should spend some added money for this speaker because it would change the entire event – yet they don’t.

Or they know if they spend some added dollars to do a certain exhibit change it could make a major difference in their results, yet they hesitate.

What happens when your event or you exhibit at an event is only 60 or 70 percent of what it could be?  Heck what happens when it is only 90 percent?

What people remember is over the top

100-125 and beyond.

When you are thinking, “this would be really great, but?”

Dump the but.  Do it.

3/        Make it great by building a team

Get all the players involved.

Your exhibitors, your speakers your vendors, even the manufactures.

Get them talking and working together long before the event.

Have them build strong relationships long before the day of the event.

Have them understand that this is going to be an event that people remember for a long time and you need them to help make that happen.

Those are your 3 tips for today

Now

No matter where you are?

If you put on the events or if you participate.

Let’s kick the game up another notch.

The event industry is very hot today and it offers a great opportunity to do face to face.

Where people can get together

Where people can talk to many different people.

Because we do so much that isn’t face to face an event can be a key lead generator for you.

That when you get someone to commit to an event – the event has to rock.

So that when you leave the event you are already signed up for next year.
